<ResRadio> Ham Tyler says, "Gooder, you and the Doc joining us?"

<ResRadio> Michael Donovan says, "On our way."

<ResRadio> Juliet Parrish says, "We're coming, don't get your pants in a knot Ham."

<ResRadio> Ham Tyler says, "*soft chuckle* Not since the night we captured that Visitor Lieutenant, Doc….."

Ham Tyler stands in front of a Map. The Map shows the Ojai Valley, the town of Ojai and a Visitor Camp nearby. He stands, hands behind his back, and looking at the far wall, where there are some green stains of Visitor Blood.

Jason Briggs looks at the map and listens To Ham Tyler

Juliet Parrish appears with Michael, a small red diskette in hand. Without sparing anyone else a glance, and without waiting to see if she's interrupting, she moves to hand Ham the diskette and murmur quietly to him.

Ryan Rivers moves into the group of Resistance fighters he knows calls allies, just blinking as he sees the map. 'Crap… Didn't expect something like this so soon,' he thinks to himself, leaning against the entrance to the Living Space as he waits for the mission briefing to start.

Elizabeth Maxwell slips down, laughing over at that comment and shrugging a little, looking to the map quickly.

Ham Tyler glances at Julie, and accepts the disk. He arches an eyebrow, and than nods. "All right Doc. After this mission, I will make it the next priority….." He glances at the assembled people, and nods to himself, plenty to do what he wants. "All right folks, listen up. We've have some good raids recently, and now, it is time to take back Central California from the Lizards. In the Ojai Valley, there is a Visitor Camp. They have prisoners there. MANY of our allies and potential Allies are there. Including Robin Maxwell… Elizabeth's Mother, at least, as of 3 days ago when these pictures came in." He points to a picture of Robin Maxwell, carrying heavy bags of what appears to be cement.

Juliet Parrish nods to Ham, before turning to make her way over to wherever Mike has settled himself before she turns to listen.

Michael Donovan smiles grimly at Ryan. "Get used to it," he tells him over Ham's briefing, "From the look of things, it's shaping up to be a pretty busy week."

Jason Briggs studies the map and absorbs what Ham is saying

Elizabeth Maxwell just /blinks/ at the last statement from Ham, looking up that much more, and at the map and picture, though she doesn't move.

Jaden Mallory looks to his side at Jason slightly then looks at Elizabeth before returning focus to Ham and smiles "As long as we get to kill some lizards, I'm happy."

Jason Briggs says to Jaden, "You will get your chance, don't worry"

Ham Tyler frowns quietly, "Well, it got your attention, I see." He pauses, "Now, the local Ojai resistance is in shambles, most of their group has been killed, or fed to Crivits." He pauses, and points to another picture, this of a creature that appears to look a lot like a tentacled shark, but is obviously happy in sand, because it is covered in Sand, "Think of Crivits as Land Sharks, for those of you not familiar with the things. They live in the sand that completely surrounds the Camp. So, because of that, we are going in by air, to the camp. Three members will dress up as Visitors… Those of you not dressed up, will have weapons concealed on you, and will be posing as Prisoners." He looks over everyone and says, "Gooder, You, the Doc, and…. Elizabeth, for the Disguises. You are the best with the Laser Rifles. The rest of us will have whatever we can conceal easiest." For Ham, his Uzi and a Laser Pistol, most likely… although, you never know what he can hide.

Michael Donovan looks over to Julie, a rather obvious look of concern on his face as Ham reviews the initial game plan. Indistinctly, he mumbles something into her ear, still half-paying attention to what Tyler is telling everyone.

Ryan Rivers just nods to Donovan, trying to return the smile and barely succeeding. After Ham looks like he is taking a pause, he blinking to what he sees. "…So, that's what those buggers are…" Ryan just looks to his shirt, where his Glock is still in its concealed hip holster. Fighting land sharks and lizards with a hand gun. How… reassuring for the newbie.

Juliet Parrish gives an almost imperceptible nod to Michael, before murmuring something back up at him. Those who know her best might notice an unusually stiff set to her shoulders, a dark air around her today that isn't usually seen.

Jaden Mallory checks his Laser Pistol onto his holster, conceals his Taser in his clothes and then checks the ammo on his mini-Uzi before hiding it.

Jason Briggs says to Ham, "So we go in as prisoners, but what if they find our weapons on us during a search upon arrival at camp?"

Ham Tyler moves to the map, and shows the layout of the camp, "These sand 'rivers' separate the Visitor Section of the camp, from the Prisoner section. Only 3 Bridges allow travel from one area to another, and they are flimsy, and can be gotten rid of easily with two Laser blasts." He shrugs, "Those should go down before we go too far, otherwise, we will have to chase the Visitors into the Prison part of the camp, and risk killing the prisoners. So, just before we are led to the Prison part of the camp, we will drop those, and than start to kill all the Shock Troopers in Camp. Only 10 are there, plus the Base Commander." TO Jason, he notes, "They assume everyone is searched before they get there, as I have 3 people inside already, with Radios. That is how half this information got out."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods a little at the plan, waiting and watching quietly.

Jason Briggs says to the group, " I agree with ham's Idea

Ham Tyler smirks, "Gee, thanks for that, Mr. Briggs." He sighs, "Now, anyone have anything constructive to add?"

Jaden Mallory says, "What happens if the intelligence is wrong?"

Ham Tyler shrugs, "Same thing we always do…. Whatever it takes to complete the Mission. Although, if the Intel is wrong, it would be because the Visitors converted three of the CIA's best operatives."

Ryan Rivers raises his hand, apparently sticking to the 'good cop' way of things to the bitter end as he waits silently. Jaden Mallory nods "Sounds good to me."

Ham Tyler glances at Ryan, "Yes?" He frowns, not used to all these questions. He makes a note to ask about the new recruits or whatever.

Elizabeth Maxwell winces about the Intel. "I'm less concerned with wrong intelligence, than I am the weather. Which, for reminder to everyone, will likely make spots extremely /slippery/, so keep it in mind."

Jason Briggs stands up from watching the briefing and loads up his ammo clips

Juliet Parrish speaks quietly, "Changing the weather is the next mission we're planning, Elizabeth. Count it lucky this time…it's easier to work on wet sand, than on dry." She nods to Ham, pushing off. "Let's go. The prisoner transports are scheduled regularly, being late will make them wonder."

Ham Tyler shakes his head, "NO ONE, should touch the sand…."

Ryan Rivers sighs. "What about transporting of the people we rescue? Take that has to be done by air too… I assume we are taking a lot of ships?" Short pause. "No sand, check."

Ham Tyler nods, "We have three Squad Ships that will wait for us to call them in, to get the people out." He pauses and than says, "Everyone, follow Miss. Maxwell to the Squad Ship. She is our Pilot for this."

Well, at least her distracted mind said the right thing to clear that up for everyone else. Maybe Mike was right…no, she really does need to shoot some lizards for therapy.

Elizabeth Maxwell raises her eyebrows a little bit. Hmm, news to me." Elizabeth Maxwell looks up the stairs, and starts walking up for the exit.

Elizabeth Maxwell takes control of Visitor Squad Ship #189.

Ham Tyler moves over to sit beside Elizabeth, and says, "You know how to get there?"

Jason Briggs goes and sits down where he is told to sit down at in the ship

Elizabeth Maxwell glances over and raises eyebrows. "I saw the map… I think I have some idea at least… yell if I start going in the wrong direction."

Jaden Mallory takes a seat next to Jason and smiles thinking of how he will have a chance to kill some lizards tonight.

Ham Tyler smirks, and straps himself in, "Gotcha…" He glances back, "Let's Go… Strap in." He turns to Elizabeth, "Take off in 5 seconds, if they are seated or not…"

Juliet Parrish is settled in a seat, having changed quickly, counting the seconds until they get off the ship and start killing. Somewhat unlike her, but hey. She doesn't say a word.

Ryan Rivers just races in, finding the first seat he can. Why is he the last one in? He went back to his room for something… But whatever it is, it isn't shown. He is a little white knuckle about it, but well, he has been in gun fights only a couple of times… And they weren't fun.

Elizabeth Maxwell glances up to check people, and starts counting, powering the engine up, and simply holding on the control, ticking the seconds down to pulling it back and lifting us off. Once she reaches zero, she smiles, and pulls back on the stick, making the ship practically leap up from the ground, and lurch to the right slightly. "Hope everyone was strapped in…"

You go to Central California Sky.

Juliet Parrish frowns, something beginning to dawn in the back of her mind, turning to study the back of Ham's head for a moment before, "Ham…did you ever get that venom treated after you took care of things the other night?" she asks slowly.

Ham Tyler clears his throat, "No… Got your ointment Doc?" He shrugs, "Besides, it is not hurting at the moment."

Ham Tyler says softly to Liz, "The Camp is near Ojai…."

"Sure it's not, Ham, and Elizabeth's my daughter." Julie mutters, reaching into her pocket to pull out a small tube. "Use a little…though I suppose having venom burns on your face is a good thing. Problem prisoner that you are."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods at Ham. "I know… I know where we're at, actually." She moves the stick, pointing the nose downward towards the general location of Ojai and the camp. "Time for a little loss of altitude…"

Jaden Mallory holds on to the side of the chair as the shuttle dives.

You go to Visitor Camp.

"Aww, Gee Mom… Do I haveta?" Yes, even the great Fixer can joke before a mission. He does take the tube, and rubs some ointment on his face.

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little at Ham, shaking her head slightly. Then she watches the windows and instruments. Since it's buffeting rain down onto everything, the ship shakes slightly as its slowed and pulled for landing, and she holds onto the stick tightly, worrying about it, and making sure of where the landing pad is, and that it isn't already occupied. On confirming that, she moves the stick again, sliding the ship down onto its landing gear, gently.

Ham Tyler says simply, "Anyone who reaches for a weapon before given the order by either myself, or the ones dressed as Visitors, I will personally kick their ass." He waits for Elizabeth to open the Hatch, and for Mike or Julie to lead the way.

Jaden Mallory chuckles slightly at Ham's comment.

Jaden Mallory focuses himself and prepares for the fight ahead.

Elizabeth Maxwell slips the reverb collar on finally, grumbling at the thing, and checks herself over. She puts the helmet on her head then, and checks it as well. Elizabeth Maxwell hits the door control then. "Okay…"

Ryan Rivers just blinks at the rest of the group as some of them seem so causal. He figures maybe one day he won't be outsider looking in. That not being the case now, he just shifts his attention toward his feet, waiting to be lead out. If his identity as a Resistance fighter gets found out to the Visitors somehow, he'll be wanting to kick some butt, that's for sure. He keeps the thought to himself as he gets up slowly.

Jason Briggs motions to Jaden to calm down and don't get excited yet or we could get tipped off

Michael Donovan straightens up, getting into pseudo-military mode. He slides his helmet into place, hopefully obscuring his 'Second-Most-Wanted' features from the view of any reptiles who happen to keep up on current events.

Jaden Mallory stands and prepares to leave when told to.

Juliet Parrish stands from her seat, making sure her voice altering collar is on, before strapping her helmet into place. She nods to Michael, before moving to lead the column out the door, walking beside the first person in line. She fully expects Michael and Elizabeth to space themselves out as necessary. "Move," she orders, voice sounding rough as it's altered.

Leaving the squad vehicle…

Kadjem is talking with the Base Commander, explaining about the new Weather patterns. Kita is beside him.

Ham Tyler glances at the area around him, and sighs softly, "Remember, keep everything on the low key until ordered" he mutters to the other 'Prisoners'.

Kita stands beside, for certain, looking for any other 'cover' from the rain. She looks over at the prisoners…

Elizabeth Maxwell swears very loudly as people get recognized, pulling the laser rifle up and pointing it over as quickly as she can. "damn damn damn." she grumbles under her breath, and pulls the trigger back, aiming for the nearest trooper.

A long stream of curses come from Ryan's mouth, something about luck, plans in general, and kicking someone in the nuts somewhere all in what he has to say. Not often he does that, but well, this is his first mission… And it is shot to hell in the first ten seconds. Pulling out his handgun, he just fires off a few rounds, just offering a silent prayer as he tries to take out Visitor Shock Trooper #338.

Juliet Parrish swears herself, bringing her rifle up to bare. "Someone take care of the bridges!" she calls, moving to take aim at the larger Lizard, the one apparently in charge…and the one that blew the plan. "Die you scaly sonofabitch!" she growls.

Michael Donovan brings his laser rifle to bear on one of the advancing troopers, his stream of invective somewhat shorter than Ryan's. Upon hearing Julie shout, he's reminded of the immediate objective, so that when he finally opens fire, it's at one of those ominously rickety bridges rather than at a living being.

Donovan's target falls to the ground. Mad Crivits are seen all over it.

Kadjem rushes forward, his laser sidearm looking for that Tyler person again… he instead sees someone else, someone he recognizes, and thought was dead. Jason Briggs, honored guest on the LA Mothership… well, it is long past time for him to get hurt, or killed perhaps. He fires a shot right for Jason Briggs, how is the large Lizard's aim?

Ryan Rivers gets nailed right in the right arm, but thankfully, he shoots with the left. He replies with a couple of bullets for the laser fired on him, hoping that is the last time he gets hit. That freaking smarts getting shot.

Jaden Mallory just manages to dodge two blasts from the Visitors, and realizes his Uzi is ineffective, drops it and quickly crouches, whipping out his Visitor Pistol, and quickly takes aim and fires at Kita.

Juliet Parrish narrows her eyes as she misses, inhaling slow and deep. You want to kill them, Julie, yes, but relax and do it calmly. Getting excited won't help! Dropping to one knee (good timing too, as the Trooper's shot goes over her head rather than through it), she braces the rifle, steadying her grip on it as she tracks the moving Kadjem.

Ryan Rivers looks back to the ship for a second, as if making sure he knows that it is still there. One of the Resistance falls and as Jason goes down, Rivers grunts, firing off a round or two to a random trooper as he tries to make his way toward the fallen Marine's position. Silently he wonders when the heck did he step out of real life and into Star Wars, what with all the lasers flying around.

Elizabeth Maxwell keeps her big rifle out, getting more and more annoyed as she fails to hit the second time, and gets fire from two directions suddenly. She sights up for 337 again, trying to aim better than before, after shaking her head once at the situation.

Jason Briggs stands up to try to take a shot at a Shock Trooper and hears a familiar voice say "Die" and then turns around and sees Kadjem firing his Laser sidearm at him and then goes down, unconscious

Jaden Mallory is hit in the arm by Kita and crouches trying to ignore the pain, before taking aim again and firing back at her while saying "Just die you lizard."

Michael Donovan keeps his eyes on his target for now, figuring he'll get the head count of his people after the lasers and lead have stopped flying. He takes another shot at #575, his randomly selected first kill-to-be of the day.

Juliet Parrish sees the Resistance members start to fall out of the corners of her eyes, and the others moving before shooting. Lifting her voice, attempting to rally the troops as it were (and probably herself), the LA Resistance leader calls, "Take them down! And you'll all have a new pair of boots in the morning!" With that, she fires yet another shot towards Kadjem, not even noticing the stun shot that misses her by mere inches.

Kadjem is hit by Ham's Laser blast, after he smirks upon Jason's falling. He switches to Julie, whom looks somewhat familiar. Who is that? And considering she just fired at him….He fires his weapon at her, he'll check her body, after this raid is turned back, yes, that is what he will do. Or rather, he will, if his team wins this fight. The Laser blast to the chest knocks him back about 5 feet, and he lays unconscious on the ground. Just the Gumbies now, and well, he will likely wake up, with the Camp being empty.

Juliet Parrish just doesn't have any luck. Well, okay, she does…just not this last week. This last week has been anything BUT lucky. Already kneeling, she doesn't have far to drop as she's hit, out for the count.

Visitor Squad Ship #190 arrives from Central California Sky.

Ryan Rivers looks around for someone to shoot, but not seeing anyone, puts his gun away before putting his hand to his injured arm. "Get me a kit… And I'll see what I can do for him and her," he offers with a pained voice as he refers to both Jason and Julie.

Heather O'Leary comes down from the Squad Ship, in her hands is a first aid kit. She looks around, and frowns, "Damn…. what happened?" She moves to the first wounded one she sees, and arrives at Jaden. She peers at his wounds….

Heather O'Leary tosses an extra first aid kit to Ryan, "Here ya go Ryan… Not much good for Laser Wounds, but we can get antibiotics into em, patch the wounds with Bandages, and get them awake, or at least, out of pain.

Heather O'Leary looks down at Jaden, and hmms softly. She begins to bandage the man's wounds. After a quick set of bandages, she injects him with some antibiotics, and some pain killer.

Elizabeth Maxwell steps back, peeling her reverb collar off and glancing at it. "Fat lot of good this thing did. Need to figure out how the disguise equipment dragged back from the ship works, to hide faces that are too famous to not get recognized."

Michael Donovan blinks as Ham's occasionally booming voice booms out Julie's name. He quietly snarls a few less than polite words at himself for not keeping a closer eye on her instead of paying so much attention to the world through the cross hairs of a rifle sight. He moves towards her, but naturally arrives well after Ham does.

Ham Tyler glances at Elizabeth, "Make sure the troopers are dead… but leave the Officers. I want them to suffer at Diana's hands…."

Ryan Rivers catches the kit, though barely. Kneeling down before next to Jason, working on the disinfection and the bandaging… At least there are no bullets to remove with lasers wounds. "Well, that's the first battle lived through. Here's hoping for at least fifty more," as he words. He pauses at Ham's words. Not exactly something is likes to do… Shoot a downed guy, but well again… It's war.

Heather O'Leary sighs as Jaden is beyond her help, "This one needs a Doctor…." To her co-Pilot she says, "Get him on board… As soon as all the wounded are loaded, we'll take em to HQ, and let Doc Quinn look at em." She watches as Jaden is carefully lifted, and carried onto Squad Ship #190

Ham Tyler moves, a few inches, letting Heather get to Julie. He frowns, than stands up, Into his radio, he speaks, and soon, another Squad Ship lands in the Prison area, and Resistance Fighters come out. They quickly round up the Prisoners that watched the fight, and get them to safety.

Heather O'Leary hmms, "No scorch marks… Was it only a Stun shot?" She pulls out some smelling salt, and runs it under Julie's nose.

Heather O'Leary moves over to Ham, "You know, you got hit too, right?" She checks his wounds, and wonders if she can help him. She quickly injects him with some Pain killers, and some antibiotics.

Ryan Rivers merely continues working on Jason, sighing as he does. Good thing he paid extra attention when he took the first aid classes. He over hears the conversations about him, hrmming as he does. At least all of them are dead… That means no one can know about him. And the ones that DO… Well, they seemed more focused on the more famed resistance fighters. Something he doesn't mind at all.

Heather O'Leary nods slightly, and moves over to Jason, "How bad is he, Ryan?" She helps Ryan work on Jason, "After him, we might want to try some more with the one in the Squad Ship…"

Ham Tyler moves to the Squad Ship they rode in on, and slips into it.

"Pretty bad," Ryan replies. "Doing what I can, but I'm no doctor, Heather," he offers quietly as he continues to dress the wounds as best he can. "But it could have been worse, that's for sure."

Elizabeth Maxwell watches quietly across the sand moat, at the prisoner area, keeping the visor up on the helmet, only using it now to keep the rain off her head.

Heather O'Leary hmms softly, and than brings out the smelling salts, "If we can get him up, and walking, it would be better…."

Heather O'Leary looks at Ryan, "Let's get him into the One I flew in… Than check on the other guy… Between us, we might get him up and around."

Elizabeth Maxwell steps up into the ship again, taking the helmet off and plopping herself into the pilot seat, powering the ship up. "Well, that went well…"

Ham Tyler shrugs slightly, "Could have been worse, I guess… we got everyone out, at least."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods a little bit. "Suppose it could have been a lot worse, yeah. I still reiterate my earlier comment. If this had been anything bigger, it could have been a nightmare for someone being recognized right away."

Ham Tyler nods, "We need to have better disguises, but I was not in a disguise…"

Elizabeth Maxwell pulls back on the stick, more gently this time and shaking her head a little. "Still, now we know how well recognized people are getting. This is why I dyed and permed my hair when I went aboard the mothership to get Briggs back. Looked awful, but…"

Ham Tyler smirks slightly, "I am not perming my hair…." What hair?

Elizabeth Maxwell rolls her eyes. "You don't have enough hair to perm. More like getting a wig or something."

Ham Tyler rolls his eyes, "Can I just wear glasses?"

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little and shrugs. "Well, if it works."

Elizabeth Maxwell touches the ship down, and starts powering it down. "Oh well. Just need to poke Heather to look at the shot I took, later. Otherwise, its all good."

Ham Tyler smirks, "Well, I'm sure Doc Quinn could check ya out."

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little. "and get another lecture? Great…" she rolls her eyes and groans softly, shutting the ship down and opening the hatch.

<ResRadio> Ham Tyler says, "Remember, all wounded to the Living Room. Doc Quinn… You got work to do."

Ryan Rivers just scampers out of the craft, just making his way toward the living room as ordered.

Elizabeth Maxwell slips in, after taking a few minutes to head to the bedroom first, and change her clothes. She sits into one of the chairs, and settles back quietly.

Michaela Quinn looks around, at all the wounded, and than glares at Ham, "TYLER!" She shouts, "You got all of these people, including yourself, HURT?" She looks around again, and sighs. "Good thing Miss Parrish brought me that Laser Wound stuff… MORE of it, I mean." She walks over to Ryan, and says simply, "Remove any clothes from where your wounds are." She pauses, and says to everyone else, "That means all of you. NOTHING Covering the wounds. Modesty be damned, if I have to work like a slave tonight, you will make my life easier."

Ryan Rivers comes in rather calmly, as he just got shot in the arm. He can barely move it and he is sure he isn't supposed to, but well, better than getting shot in the chest. He calmly waits on the chair, blinking at Quinn and her demand, just rolling up his sleeve and the simple bandaging he put on during the flight back. "Remind me to never get shot in the butt," he notes dryly.

Ham Tyler shrugs slightly, and takes his pants off. Boxers for the Fixer. He sits down in a chair, putting his leg up.

Michaela Quinn pulls out a jar of rather interesting looking, green cream. She slathers some on Ryan's Arm. "You will not get this Arm wet for 48 hours. You will *not* try to move it for 48 hours, and you will *not* mix the drugs I am going to give you, with alcohol for 72 hours."

Elizabeth Maxwell looks away from seeing Briggs do all that, making an audible sigh of relief that at least someone knows to wear boxers. For herself, she glances down and rolls her eyes, pulling her shirt up and off, to get tended to.

Michaela Quinn injects Ryan with some medicine, pain killers and antibiotics. Than puts a stitch into his wound, to keep it closed. She moves over to Elizabeth next, to give the girl some modesty. She repeats the Cream application, and the admonishment.

Elizabeth Maxwell offers a smile to the doctor then, and slips her shirt back on over the treated wound, settling back into the chair again.

Michaela Quinn than repeats the stitching and injections. Over to Tyler. She smirks, "Well, is that a gun in your pocket, Mr. Tyler, or are you just…" She smirks, and shakes her head, "No, that is no gun. Must be the cool temperatures." She applies the Laser-healing cream to Tyler, and gives him the same orders as everyone else about the wound.

Ryan Rivers blinks at Quinn. "72? Isn't that a lit…" He pauses as he notices the shirt off, frozen in mid-thought to the glimpse of Elizabeth's shirtlessness while it lasted. He reddens up rather nicely, just coughing before waiting until he thinks he's sure Quinn's back is totally turned. Then of course, he flexes his arm a little. That cant be wrong, right?

Jason Briggs says to the doc, "AWWWWW, come on doc, I damn near died, and I can't have a victory smoke?"

Ham Tyler smirks at the Doc's humor, than glares at Jason, "Briggs, do you own the ranch? No. It was decided by the owner, along time ago, no smoking inside."

Jason Briggs looks away in disgust as he puts the light cigarette out in a soda can

Michaela Quinn repeats the stitching and injections on Tyler. "For that, Mr. Briggs, you are last." She moves over to Jaden, and shakes her head. She administers the cream to the wounds, and shrugs slightly, "Do I have to repeat the orders? No drinking for 72 hours, no wet wound for 48, no working out with the wound for 48 hours."

Jason Briggs turns away and shuts his mouth

Jaden Mallory smiles "You tell him Liz. Smoking's bad."

Ryan Rivers sighs as he gets up, looking to his arm. "It gunna be a damn load of fun explaining how I got THIS at work. Wonder if they will believe my highly postal girlfriend did it? I figure until they some how find out I don't have one it will work, right?"

Michaela Quinn stitches up Jason's wounds, injects him in the arm, and than moves over to Ryan, "Sure they will." She kisses Ryan on the lips, softly, "Just show them a picture of me, and I will be your cover."

Ham Tyler gets dressed again, and smirks, "I think the doc found someone she likes, finally…." Ham looks at Liz, and actually grins, and not one of those shit-eating ones either. An actual grin of humor.

Elizabeth Maxwell starts laughing, shaking her head. "You could always say you got stuck in one of the flooded sections of the suburbs, and couldn't make it in. With all the rain coming down, that's becoming a valid excuse…" Elizabeth Maxwell nods at Ham then, laughing more.

Ham Tyler stands up, and limps to the closet, where crutches are stored. He gets a set, and uses it to go to the kitchen for food.

Ryan Rivers opens his mouth say something… But finds something /else/ to do with it. He turns even redder. Getting flashed by Elizabeth, someone he just met two days ago and kissed by a woman he met two minutes ago. The resistance sure is a lot more 'interesting' then he thought it would be. "I think the girlfriend cover works better. Girlfriend always better than flood. Just the way it works," he offers as he rubs the back of his head with his uninjured hand.

Ryan Rivers coughs once to try and reduce the blushing, it only working somewhat. "Sorry… Just used to… Um, stuff…" he pauses at Quinn. "No, no…. rain bad…. Postal girlfriend good." My, seems like Ryan is SO well versed when under pressure. He does manage a "Thanks" to Jaden though. A couple of seconds later, he offers more. "Well… It was just what I was told by a friend on the force how the Visitors really were… I mean, they eat people. I couldn't just sit around and let that go…. I joined the police to protect the innocent… And that's what I intend to do."

Jaden Mallory smiles "A very good reason. Better than mine… more just that is. I joined since the Visitor took my wife and my parents. I'm in this for revenge."

Michaela Quinn smiles and says to Ryan, "So, when are you going to introduce me to the boys at work? And when is our first date?"

I guess I was using them as an excuse after I got off the ship cause of my wife and son, but now that I have almost faced death, I have a lot to live for and the resistance is my new family."

They took me in… gave me a home, even after the President assigned me here, I wasn't sure I wanted to stay." "Well… No revenge for me. The only person that I really lost to the Visitor was a friend… But well, at the time, they told me that he was just stoned when he was saying all that stuff about the aliens and took him away…" Ryan pauses for a moment, wondering there was ever a chance to save him or not. Considering the situation, one unarmed 20 year old to a small mob… Yeah, no way of saying him. To Quinn, he shrugs, "Um, well, we could do two days from now. Michaela Quinn smiles, and says to Ryan, "I do have a shift at LA County General on Tuesday, that sounds like the perfect time to meet up… I know this really nice Club, the Club Creole…" Since she is a Doctor, she can afford the high prices Elias charges, and considering 3/4's of that will go back to the Resistance, it is a good date, all around.

Elizabeth Maxwell looks out to the porch and hmms a little. "Maybe I should go out and see them.." she smiles, slipping out towards the foyer. "I'll wear a jacket so I don't get the spot wet."

Jaden Mallory smiles "Have Fun."

Ryan Rivers chuckles faintly. "Sounds good… Anything important that I should know about before we go out," Ryan offers with small smile. He pauses to look around… To notice that most of the resistance he knows is watching him in the ongoing sage of Ryan Rivers…. Rookie of Love. He just tilts his head out to Elizabeth, looking outside. "Hope the rivers aren't flooded. Supposed to go to work in about ten hours."

Elizabeth Maxwell slips for the foyer then, smiling.

Heather O'Leary sighs softly, and turns around. She looks towards the Barn and says softly, "We have to get the rest of those damned craft from Maine…."

Elizabeth Maxwell slips out from the house at that moment, and glances over towards Heather, raising her eyebrows. "Where would we put them? I wanted more in the first place…"

Heather O'Leary shakes her head slightly, "We picked out a bunch for us, and if I hadn't gone and gotten one of the Squadships earlier, I wouldn't have been able to ride in like the Ambulance tonight… We still have more up in Maine, waiting for us."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods a little and smiles. "Well, at least we have replacements… Better circumstances than we have had, in a few ways."

Heather O'Leary nods slightly, "But we have to get the rest… Pete is making sure the tracking devices are removed… so that is one concern we won't have…"

Elizabeth Maxwell nods a little bit. "Well, as long as we have at least one ship intact, we can go get them later."

From Living Room - Ranch House, Ryan Rivers smiles and nods. "I think I remember that show… So I guess your parents named you after her then… I was just named Ryan because… It just sounded catchy…." Rubbing his head once more, he looks outside. "Well, I really should get to bed. Need to get up nice and early to make sure I can get back to my house, clean up, and be ready for work. Though if do all this fighting, maybe I should just get a mask so I don't end up getting I.D.ed like the members of the resistance that have had TV time."

Heather O'Leary says softly, "If we leave them too long… we might not get them. The President might forget they are ours… We should, at least, get them moved somewhere off the Mothership…"

From Living Room - Ranch House, Michaela Quinn shrugs, "S'OK…" She looks at Ryan, and shrugs slightly again, "But you go sleep… although, I'd be willing to bet that the rivers will be flooded by morning. I barely got her tonight."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods. "He might just as easily 'forget' the equipment deal as well, is more my worry. But yeah, we should move them off."

Heather O'Leary shrugs, "I thought Doc Parrish got that deal in writing?" She shrugs, "I don't know any more." She moves over and Hugs Liz, and whispers something softly to her. Heather O'Leary whispers "How's your wound, Love?"

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms and nods, hugging tightly. "I thought it was in writing as well. Better be." She grumbles softly and snuggles gently, muttering back

From Living Room - Ranch House, "Crap… Knowing my luck, the roads will be out too. Hope they will buy me being sick or something…" Ryan replies. "Though I guess the lying will come easier with time too, I take."

Elizabeth Maxwell hrms. "It's not too bad, I'll live.""

Heather O'Leary nods slightly, "Good…." She looks inside, "Quinn seems to like that new guy, doesn't she?" She smiles, "It'll do the Doc good to get laid once in awhile… She is such a bitch."

From Living Room - Ranch House, Michaela Quinn nods very slightly, "Unfortunately. But tell them you had to go out of the city for the weekend, some free golfing weekend or something, and now, with the weather, you are stuck…."

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little at that, and shrugs. "Well, I guess everyone does, once in a while. If she does like him, well, good for her, I hope she has a happy life with him, now and later on."

From Living Room - Ranch House, Ryan Rivers hrms and nods. "Yeah, I figure I will come out here often… Likely should make up a reason why I leave the city all the time. Maybe I could take up camping as a hobby… That's a nice easy excuse for leaving the city all the time, right?"

Heather O'Leary nods slightly, and sighs, "This rain is… unbelievable," Yes, that was a quick subject change.

Elizabeth Maxwell sighs a little and snuggles gently. "I hope to have a happy life with you always, as well." She kisses your cheek, and strokes your hair. "Yes, it is… Not good. Julie mentioned something about our next mission possibly involving it. I haven't lived long, granted, but I've never seen a rain like this. Not up here. And I don't think I'm the only one…"

Heather O'Leary says softly, "Last time it rained like this… I was in El Salvador. Rained every day for 18 hours, just like this. 4 months straight… But down there, it was rainy season. This is odd for here…" She frowns, "I have always wondered why Diana didn't fuck with the Climate… now I think, maybe, she has…"

From Living Room - Ranch House, Ryan Rivers nods. "True enough." He pauses for a moment, just shaking off the feeling that he has that this is all so surreal. After all, he had his first mission, laser wound, and first stolen kiss. He's dated and kissed on his own… But usually it was with him showing a little effort to get the girl to pay him any mind, not the other way around. "Well, um, suppose sleep is a good thing…. See you tomorrow then, Michaela?"

Elizabeth Maxwell glances up and sighs a little bit. "Well, if what Julie said is right, evidently there's a shot at fixing it back to normal. Messing with the climate makes sense I suppose, if it gets like El Salvador here, think of how far up it'll be too warm for a winter…"

From Living Room - Ranch House, Michaela Quinn smiles and nods slightly, "I look forward to it, Ryan…." She smiles, and gets a picture in her head, that is not surreal, or for general consumption. She smiles wider, but in a dreamy fashion, "I think I'll head down to bed myself…."

Heather O'Leary sighs softly, "Why does that not surprise me… Diana screwing with things… Dammit. I sure hope that Julie lets the rest of us in on the secret."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods a little bit and shrugs. "Yeah, so do I." She looks up at the rain. "I certainly don't like weather like this. It hits morale, hits operation problems…" she considers. "I'm gonna have to try running up north or something probably in the next day or two, to get air filters for the smokers. If this keeps up I'll have to line a room with them, and set it aside as an indoor smoking room, to keep some people from bitching about it…" she hugs again. "Thanks for tossing that one…"

Heather O'Leary nods slightly, "It was the last one… and I think I got Jason to quit himself…." She shrugs slightly, "Don't make it easy on people… No Smoking inside…."

From Living Room - Ranch House, Ryan Rivers just nods with a simple thumbs up… And then heads down for the night.

Elizabeth Maxwell hugs tightly. "all right… if you don't think I should, you officially own the house after all." she grins a little bit.

Heather O'Leary rolls her eyes, "The place is yours, love…. Not anyone else's… as far as I am concerned, what you say, that is the law around here."

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles and snuggles gently, stroking your hair. "I just want you happy. I really don't want them smoking in there, of course…" She smiles a bit more. "I'm just glad you stopped." she kisses your forehead.

Heather O'Leary nods slightly, "I know love… So we stop it from happening inside, and I don't pick up another." She presses something into Liz's hand. A Pack of Cigarettes, "Get rid of them for me?"

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles and nods a little. "I'll get rid of them. Don't worry…" She glances out. "wonder how the rescued prisoners are. I need to go check them over tomorrow…" She ponders a little.

Heather O'Leary nods slightly, "I heard Ham was having them taken up to the Dust zone, to get checked over, and than, they were going to go where they wanted…"

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms and nods a little bit… "Ah. He also said that one of them might be… my mother coming back. She was only leaving for a week, when the war started, I haven't seen her since. He had a picture from 3 days ago or so, of her being there…" She sighs. "Probably got caught trying to get home…"

Heather O'Leary nods slightly, "Yes… Likely."

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles just a little and laughs. "She won't be as bad as Polly was, I promise that. She's not hostile like that. If she gets to upset, she just starts bawling, instead of trying to attack people at random."

Heather O'Leary smirks, "So instead of Dodging bullets, it'll be tears?" She grins and winks, "I'm not sure which is worse…"

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs and shrugs slightly. "Well, at least tears are less injuring, if just as annoying. Yes, it gets tiring, but it also doesn't need doctors to fix. Which… I'll certainly appreciate more now after what happened with Polly."

Heather O'Leary nods and shrugs, "I'm going to head to sleep… even though I can't run, I am still waking up too damned early in the mornings."
